Selling online is not always an easy task, but if you’re looking to test affiliate marketing, there are a few simple steps that you can follow to be advertising in no time. Best of all you can do all this for free.

So where do you start?
I suggest choosing a product on clickbank. Look at the sales page of the products choose one that you would actually be convinced to buy. You may also want to choose a product that is somewhat popular and will convert buyers well.

Next come up with a list of keywords for that product. You may use a keyword tool and type in the actual product name. The google keyword tool will give you a list of keywords. Choose keywords that people would type if they were ready to buy the product.

Next all you have to do is write articles for each of those keywords. A good review of the product may be good as well. Then you will want to put a link to the affiliate page or even better you can create a free blog on blogger to explain the product that you are selling and put a link there. This is a good idea because some article directories do not allow affiliate links.

The good part about having a web site is that you can build up your seo rankings by writing these articles. You will eventually get search engine rankings for your site. I also suggest posting helpful information in forums related to your product that you’re selling then add a signature that directs them to your site.

Once you have created a bunch of articles move on to another product and repeat the same process. This is were having a website is really helpful, because you can sell related products all from one site. You will be letting the customer choose what they want to buy.
